DATE OF MEMBERSHIP STATUS:
The date of membership is effective upon an initial donation of $10 under the membership agreement. If a member fails to make the monthly donation after the original date of membership, the member can retain his original date of membership status if the donation amount is current by the end of the membership year. If a member fails to make the $120 donation within the membership year, the member will be given a 30 grace period to make the donation current and retain his date of membership status. If a member fails to make the $120 donation as stated above, the membership will be void and will require application for new membership.The date of membership will then be reflected as the date of the new membership.

A Surety Guild lapel pin will be given to a member upon the donation of $10 and signed membership agreement.
Special lapel pins for continuous membership:
Lapel pin with one diamond for 5 yr membership
Lapel pin with two diamonds for 10 yr. membership.
Lapel pin with three diamonds for 15 yr. membership.
CERTIFICATE:
A certificate will be given to each member at the end of the membership year upon the donation of $120. The certificate will be on parchment looking paper with the Surety Guild watermark. The certificate will display the date of membership and the date of the certificate.
Special Certificates:
Special certificates with the Surety Guild and diamond watermark will be given to reflect the 5, 10, or 15 years of membership.
SPECIAL COMMEMORATIVE GIFTS:
Special commemorative gifts will be presented to members for 5, 10 and 15 years of membership.
MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
LEGISLATIVE LUNCHEON:
A yearly luncheon shall be provided to Surety Guild members who have been members for six months and whose donations are current.
RAFFLE TICKET:
Each Surety Guild member shall be guaranteed a raffle ticket upon donation of $100 before the raffle drawing. A member may donate the balance needed to bring any previous donation(s) up to the required donation for the raffle ticket.
NEWSLETTER:
Each Surety Guild member whose donations are current as of the month prior to mailing of the newsletter shall have his or her name and date of membership listed in the special Surety Guild section of the NCBAA newsletter.
RECOGNITION:
The name and date of membership of each current member shall be listed on an impressive Surety Guild display at each continuing education class.
HONORARY MEMBERS:
A person who is not a licensed bail bondsman may become an honorary Surety Guild member upon a donation of $120. An honorary member shall have the same benefits as a regular member. The Surety Guild lapel pin and yearly certificate will reflect honorary status.
